Lol to the 94TheChosenone, uhhh gee maybe it can make your wii remote not break or take damage from a fall? >_>. Rubber? Know what I'm saying?

0:44 : Ok dude, there is WAY too many videos here on youtube of people throwing their wii remotes. Also, people don't always think about using the wrist strap and it's always possible to just drop your wii remote, right? If it's on a table, someone can bump the table and it can fall off? SO please explain why exactly this is a bad thing.
Nintendo is giving you FREE STUFF! You are now LESS LIKELY to break your wii remote! What would make you think "this is stupid"? I don't follow the logic.

Failure how can a jacket help anyway >_>

yes, but who knows if they ACTUALLY work the way they are supposed to? That and the fact that usually the people whom play this system are either Die-hard Nintendo Fans, fat nerds looking for a fun way to exercise while staying indoors, or kids. As such, if one little thing goes wrong, then people may not buy Nintendo's next big thing, simply because of the fact that they 'didn't even try to fix the problem' or whatever... people complain a lot these days... lol :-D

I know that, but here's the thing. It'd be better for them to not make these jackets and do the same that everyone else does for the angry bastards that break controllers, not do a thing. Let them break it and then controller sales boom up. I mean it's $50 for a wiimote and nunchuck. and only $20 for the jacket if I remember right. There losing money because of angry idiots.

Originally, they offered a free wrist band upgrade and started selling their Wii's and Wii-motes with these larger wristbands in order to make it harder to 'break the bands' which are what some people were claiming happened. However, that obviously didn't stop the problem. Now they're releasing a cushion jacket for the Wii motes to do less damage to the Wii mote and other innocent bystanders.

It's stating the fact that, because SOME people are too stupid to put on the wrist straps properly and they play with too much force without enough of a grip on the device, they end up accidentally throwing their Wii-motes. These accidents have caused damage to not only the Wii-mote, but also to televisions, lamps, pets, family members, and other random household items.
I don't get it...You suck...
