@stefanpaulgeorge you wouldn't think so, but Dave said it is. It's written as if it's about a girl, but it's all about Roi. If you know the song Grace is Gone, it's also written as if it were about a girl, but Dave wrote it about his stepfather after he died. I'm not exactly sure why though...

@twostep03 It'd be too personal, too emotionally lewd, and too unimaginative to write it specifically about Roi or Dave's stepfather. That's part of the trick to being a good songwriter. "Oh" is about Dave's grandfather, but you could easily interpret the song to be about a woman, too. It's a way to make the songs translate better to an audience; it leaves room for interpretation on the part of the listener who can then make their own personal attachment to them.

Good job man! However the song isn't about Roi. He co-wrote it.

In an interview DM says "I loved that he liked that song, and in the end it became, just like he'd said, a really tiny song. Which is what it was meant to be when we wrote it together"
