Pogo Brick Road (Wizard of Oz Remix)

This a fan-made music video that I made for Pogo's song "Mellow Brick Road" for his video competition.

The concept for the video is that all the characters in the videos that Pogo has created for his mixes are singing to Mellow Brick Road. It was pretty fun finding clips from Pogo's videos and try to lip-sync the characters to the voices in the song.

@hissmoothcriminal Ha, thanks! It was really fun reading your comment! Yeah, I wanted to honor Pogo for what he's been doing these past years so I thought why not showcase his past works while also showcasing his recent work. So I came up with this. :)

I love the compilation of clips you used. I have to say your entry is the most colorful and fun to watch and was a real treat to see.

The only adjustment I would make is that you use some clips far too much. If the song repeats a part a few times, you can use different clips other than the one you compiled for it.

But you did pick perfect clips for the different sounds involved. Looks great!

@Tabbix Yeah it does become too repetitive. After I submitted the video, I was thinking I should have showed different clips, like, I don't know something else, something what Pogo does. Like how in one section he shows the appropriate clips, but when the song changes, he shows different clips like people dancing or something else.

best one yet. But I have a problem with it and most Pogo fan videos ever made = They use the wrong frikking splices. What I think is cool about Pogo's videos is that it visually explains where the sounds are coming from, and thus show people the power of sampling. That's also why I think Nicks idea of beginning to record video and audio separably is lame and ruins the concept. That being said, I respect your editing skills.

Wow, very well done! The spoken words and track were synced almost perfectly, and even more amazing: You took the clips from the other pogo tracks which were just fragments of the different movies.
