I'm surprised that playing the piano didn't cause the fireplace to rotate around and reveal a car battery - which you would then use to start the fortune teller machine. The fortune teller machine would spit out a secret code that could be input on the stove buttons, causing the wind emblem to pop up inside the oven. Once you collect the wind, fire, and moon emblems, you can unlock that mysterious door you couldn't open.
The real estate agent didn't mention any of that?

I find it so sad that Adrienne spends more time touching beds and looking into mirrors than she does reading that saucy love letter... which apparently never reached its intended recipient. :O

Phantasmagoria ain't got jack squat when you compare it to Tex Murphy games...which, UAKM came out a year before.
Then again this might be because of the post-cd-changing-madness glasses being worn.

her outfit is atrocious

@Resulka wine further ferments into vinegar. Don't drink alcohol at Islamic-owned restaurants, drinking alcohol is against their religion so they don't know anything about expiration of stock; 90% of the time their wine has turned over.

Drinking Absinthe will get you high and drunk at the same time for about three weeks, give or take.

He was too busy motorboating a whore.

I don't think I'll get used to the real...video game but whatever. =P
She really likes staring at stuff though.

@Resulka alcohol such as vodka never expire.

and again and again and again and again and again .AND AGAIN

@stopthrm You can actually buy absinthe in the supermarket again, it's in a big green bottle. Beware the Green Fairy!!!

O.k when it says absinthe and ALSO says essence of wormwood, it cant be thiers. Absinthe was outlawed around the turn of the 20th century. Creepy and will make you halucinate.
As Blind Guardian would say:
Look behind the mirror...she's lost in the twilight hall XD
Also, gotta love kitty ^_^
I didn't remember the in-game music, except the "Consumite Furore" Main Theme...it's Awesomely creepy!!!
I always find this first game better than the second.
The funniest thing of all is that this was released more or less by the same time King's Quest VII was published...Being KQ7 - in my opinion - a game not worth the King's Quest seal on it, and this adventure... O-o

I like KQ7! I think it is worthy of the Seal, but I do agree it's a very different style of game and could have used alot less crying in it.

Yeah, Alcohol does go bad, my father had this giant wine bottle from the 70s, Which while not so bad in date it was sitting near a window and constantly was getting direct sunlight and then a christmas a year or two ago he broke it by accident while we were doing a mega clean and he figured, Well, While it's broken I might as well taste it. It was like Vinegar but worse tasting apparently...
