@cooly1uk That's how it starts, or maybe it doesn't start like that, who knows? In the end, if you have some form of hierarchy introduced, then there will always be someone (eventually) who wants more for him/herself and is willing to betray their fellow man for power/control/wealth. So long as some form of "power" is held over the people, there will always be people want more than there is.

@cooly1uk Ah but thats still a form of control. Theres always one person who wants to ruin everything for everyone, besides, in that system it could quite easily get passed back to the caste system of the middle ages, which was quite oppressive.

@Laidleypunk It's all about state control for the Socialists and Commies in the begining. We need to get beyond that. We need to set an example ourselves for others to follow. The 'Commune' was the power of the people working together for themselves, no politicians. Power corrupts, it's as simple as that, so we need to remove their ability to have power over us and transfer it to power helping us. A small town council will know their own population and will be more accountable. Simple.
