Wow - what a fantastic voice he had. I remember reading that he felt more of a pull towards his music, folk genre stuff, but I hadn't realized what a strong voice he had. Very smooth, slightly raspy but "honeyed". It's such a shame he's gone. River was a rare and extraordinary talent. His work is unforgettable.

Yeah! Samantha Mathis' voice is TERRIBLE!!!! River should've had a better singing partner. Maybe one that would've kept him off drugs. Stupid Samantha Mathis. I feel disgraced to have the name Samantha because of her, so I don't let people call me it.
