I wondering how you are able to cut the wood towards yourself. I can only carve away from my body

Mesmerizing... I made myself a whittling knife with a small blade manufactured by Polar of Finland, but I don't think it could carve so effortlessly as your knife does. That's pretty terrific.

Tell please, and from what tree?

Got my hook knife and my carving knife the other day! Carved a knife for a friend and gave myself one of the nastiest cuts Iv ever had but it looks like its gonna be almost invisible once it healed! Very sharp knives! Be careful ppl haha!

I can tell that knife of is amazingly sharp by how effortless the cuts are. Nice work on that.

Great job keep 'em coming. How long do you keep them in the cold? After you have cut them out and while carving is there a time limit to keep them from splitting or cracking before you are finished? Love the knife. Would love to see your sharpening technique.

I normally go from the bandsaw to the freezer and leave them in the freezer until I am done carving them so they go in and out. If I am using a wood that's very likely to crack I will wet it after I'm done working so it doesn't get to dry
