  • @TAdams630 yeah, they seem very open! I mean, I'm not implying that you're a "nobody" but you know, you and Starrset, somewhat ordinary people off the street doing stuff with them is really awesome. Chaki seems so funny, I've had some very memorable conversations with him on twitter haha. what's Emi like?

  • @isaidone Haha, well get to it and learn something. They are very open! That is how I got my chance with them, 3 times! Chaki can read and write English pretty well! I usually speak to him in Japanese though, so not too sure, but a few times we mail in English!

  • @TAdams630 lol I don't really do anything, I am getting some music software and a synth in a couple of weeks though and am going to start making my own music, maybe I can do a remix or something haha. how is chaki's english? I've talked to him on twitter and he seems to be better than the average Japanese person.

  • @isaidone That would be me again! Haha! Tell me what you do, and such and I can let Chaki now!

  • @TAdams630 "the lowbrows have stepped in the place, tell the DJ to turn up the bass" haha I'm familiar with that remix. that's awesome. maybe I'll make music with him and Emi someday /wishful thinking/

  • @isaidone Yep that was me too. It was run through a vocoder like Stay Faceless. Chaki thought that should be sound when I record with them. So it stuck! Long story short, I partied a lot in Nagoya, befriended DJ Kyoko, who introduced me to Chaki one party weekend in Tokyo. He asked me to make music with him in his first email to me LOL. I recorded a small part for their remix for Misia, then went to his studio to make Stay Faceless, which I call, a demo in synthesis turning into a song!

  • @TAdams630 oh you did Lost Love too? your voice is so edited in that one you don't sound anything like you do in this song haha. how did you end up working with chaki and emi anyway?

  • @isaidone That was my old DJ/producer name :) I know go by a different one! I also did Lost Love on their second album under the same name.

  • @TAdams630 so it is! but why does it have your name written as "T-Atoms" in the booklet for the album?

  • Anyone recommend anything as good as this?
