you think about it. today you need to be fairly fit to ride supercross because of how physically tough it is. but back then your riding supercross with 2 strokes that have no bottom end and shit suspension... they would of been super fit back then!

the reason they (or we) whip over every jump nowadays is because the whip motion keeps the bike low in the air and slows the bike down in mid air which means they/we can take a faster approach to a jump and land quicker too.

Most epic battle, and the most gay commentator. Come on! Where is Larry Naston!! You can't beat that guy.... "like a dog on a piece of meat!" That's a catch phrase. The commentator for this race said "they're going hog wild." Hog wild? What? .. sooo gay. And, I don't even like Art Ekman who used to say "Bar to bar." Present day: Emig isn't a good comentator, and RC is terrible... This is one area where supercross is wanting. I can't handle Ralph, Jeff and RC calling a race.

This was some good times. This year has the potential to be great with so many riders that can win on any given Saturday. Hope they all stay healthy. Can't wait for ATL!!

How is it a poser fest now? The only people that pull whips are the freestyle guys. The only thing that sucks about modern supercross is 4-strokes. Still Carmichael, Villopoto, McGrath, Ezra Luzk, Dungey, Windham, Andrew Short are all great riders, who are only in it to race. You can't say their posers
