Part 3; From Holland with Love. (Gaygames / Outgames 2006)

For those of you who were missing the excitement of the cycling competition part three returns to wheels and roads. Not after visiting the beach volleyball competition though.

The highlight of part three however is the revelations of the biggest secret to my success, and that secret is...*BEEP*...

'From Holland with Love' describes my experience at the Gay- and Outgames, held in Chicago and Montreal in the summer of 2006. Because of its length I cut it up in three parts. Ja, dat klopt. Maar de film gaat ook over de Gaygames in Chicago en daar spreek men Engels. Frans is een prachtige taal en Nederlands ook als het je moedertaal is; maar Engels is wel erg handig. Maar als ik het zo hoor heb je iets tegen de Engelse taal.

Jullie Nederlandsen willen anglisiering maar wij niet. Wij willen fraanstalig blijven. Nous voulons rester francophone! Engels is NIET de net international taal maar EEN taal. Moet ik iets tegen Engels te fraanstalig zijn? Au Québec nous voulons que notre langue soit respectée. C'est irrespecteux de parler anglais anglais et anglais sans fin ici. Du wilst das ich Deutschland über alles in Niederlande singen? Parle français ou rester hors Québec!!

This made me cry. I feel silly, it's not as if your work here on the games is tragic, but rather, joyous. If I where younger, I would give the next games a go. At least there exists this piece, so I can experience the games vicariously. Great work!
