The people in transnista have a bad life due to oppression and thus something should be done to help them. These people are doing very very good things.

speaking of horses, why don't you get off your high horse, and take your "smart, agnostic" american self to transnistria? or do you just like demeaning people who help others?

I AM in Transnistria you dumb faggot.

well the thought still applies -- quit demeaning people who are thoughtful enough to leave their comfortable surroundings to help those less fortunate. jerk.

These evangelical creeps are vultures preying on the poor and uneducated. They have very little education themseves and yet they claim to know everything. No one can say they are 100% sure of what will happen when we die. Where was your precious god when the Tsunami killed 300,000 people? Where was he on Sept. 11th 2001? Or any other disaster? And don't tell me it is all gods plan. Religion IS the opiate of the masses.

tristandc, you're sadly mistaken. I know the people who went on this trip overseas, and I can tell you that it was God's love that motivated them so. No one was denied medical help based on religious preference, nor was anyone pressured to "convert". So check your judgemental attitude... these people left their comfortable homes (and raised tens of thousands of dollars worth of medical supplies) to help those less fortunate. When, I ask you, was the last time *you* went to Transnistria?
