another foal for potential slaughter to feed some bloody european or asian. people think before you breed. am i going to be able to keep this mare or foal forever.  can i afford to have them humanely put down by a vet instead sending them to auction where they will be bought by a slaughter buyer. let's decrease the number of horses for slaughter, not increase it. jeez

This foal, Tigger, is now two, is green broke and owned by one of our neighbors. Please consider the importance of preserving valuable, rare breeds such as Paso Finos. If those of us who own high quality registered stock were to take your advice and quit breeding, then the population of horses would become dominated by lower quality horses.
