Halo 3 ODST: Audio File Transcript - Circle 7

As Sadie and Officer Branley walk away from the burning Olifant, Sadie still plans on going to save her father. They find a medical kiosk where Sadie tells Vergil to get her dad on the line. Vergil plays doctor for a moment and Dr. Endesha shows up on the screen. He notices Sadie dressed as a cop from Mike handing her his jacket and she introduces him to her father. Dr. Endesha comments on how Mike is the first gentleman that Sadie has introduced to him, when Vergil cuts in as he tries to learn how to whistle so he can communicate with the Engineers. She comments on what happened when Tom tried the whole "communication thing" and Dr. Endesha goes on to explain that they are not violent aliens, but more inquisitive and intelligent. Meanwhile, the PA system comes on and announces that the Covenant had infiltrated the city's data systems and that civilian communication was restricted. Sadie explains to Mike that they essentially just pulled Vergil's plug. Mike comments that the evacuation would grind to a halt if that happened and it would be stupid to do so, but Sadie hints on who would do such a thing: Kinsler.

They start to head to Police HQ to bring Vergil back online as they run through the rain. Mike tells Sadie that they can get Vergil back online by getting to the Communications Department. When they get to the lobby of the building, Mike notices the whole place shot up, possibly by Covenant, but then someone by the name of Marshall steps out of the shadows and holds them on the lobby floor. Someone comes out of the elevator and starts to call for help when he sees the bodies. Marshall interrupts him and starts on a little dispute that ends up in him being killed by Marshall.

Sadie and Marshall try to get away, but Marshall stops them and holds them as hostages. They continue to argue until SWAT shows up. Marshall kills one of the SWAT cops forcing the cops to kill him. After Marshall is down, the SWAT cops hold them at gunpoint when Mike tries to explain that he's NMPD. The ask to see his badge and grant him and Sadie passage to the rest of the building.
