  • I didn't realize Clannad did instrumentals , I'm impressed

  • everyone first time after listen a new age song say that : It's stange...

  • @primordialmuse Yes, a brilliant soundtrack, and quite different from Clannad's earlier (and later) work. My favourites were probably "Drifting", "Atlantic Realm" and the uneasy "Kirk Pride". It might still be lying around on cassette tape here, probably worn out from the days when I had a walkman :)

  • Beautiful

  • This piece is indeed from the BBC series Atlantic Realm, and their album of the same name. If you can find it, the entire album is wonderful, particularly the song "Drifting." :)

  • @LadyStonecut If I recall, their name is from 'Clann As Dobhair' which means 'the family from Dobhair' as they are from Gaoth Dobhair (english: Gweedore if you want to find it on google) in County Donegal. Ive been a fan since I heard their music on Robin Of Sherwood and saw them live about 24 years ago. Theyre actually touring next year in Europe :)

  • They have also done several soundtracks - including a BBC/PBS Series called: "Atlantic Realms" and this may be a cut from that show.

  • @MrGanjamanshane go away
