I bet Flea during this time never dreamed he would one day have a net worth exceeding 100+ million dollars, and own a 13+ million dollar mansion on the beach in Malibu with other high profile celebrities as neighbors living an uber wealthy lifestyle. Back in 1983 when this was filmed he probably would've scoffed at being super wealthy and famous around the world, but now he probably says.."what a great life ! " , he earned it though,it wasn't like he became wealthy overnight.

Hell no those motherfuckers would have died if they did that shit to one of my family. On a different note, don't talk shit about the movie. It's a very decent film, and if you get nothing out of it, then just mark it off as something you don't want to do again instead of complaining. Better to be mature than to be a little bitch.

The ending was sad but what a terrific film. I really like the fact that the lone black person in the film is not a walking stererotype (he's actually one of the smartest characters) and he doesn't killed killed! I am soooo sick of movies with a retarded black like in Radio & The Green Mile, a magic negro like in Legend of Bagger Vance & Bruce Almighty. I can't believe these were regular kids. Their acting was great in my opinion.
