Bush Rebukes Iran, Promotes Saudi Friendship

President Bush continued his journey through the Middle East today, making a stop in Saudi Arabia to announce a $20 billion arms deal with the country. The deal gives Saudi Arabia the ability to buy precision-guided missiles from the United States.In Abu-Dhabi yesterday, Bush sought Arab support for an agreement to end the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. He said putting an end to the fighting would help bring about a more peaceful Middle East. At the same time, he sought to up the ante against Iran for its state-support of terrorist groups like Hamas and Hezbollah. He argued that such groups undermine stability throughout the region. 01/14/08

Bush did the greatest service to Iran. First he removed Taleban from Afghanistan. Then he went after Saddam and got him removed. Iranians couldn't believe their luck when Bush got NBomb designs door-delivered to them in Vienna through a defector Russian Scientist. He warned Israel not to attack Iran. Israelis are now scared more of Bush than Iran.
