Ray Short (Rayal Booking and Talent Agency)put together a few of his tapes and records of a few Edmonton rock groups from the 60's including Lenny Richards and The Nomads, Barry Allen with Wes Dakus and The Rebels,Mel Degen and The Lords ,Southbound Freeway,The New Wing (Sons Of Adam),Davey Peters on vocal, The King Bezz, Mary Saxton,Barry Boyd,Champs(with Mo Marshall)

  • i remember other bands from edmonton from the 70s sush as Gringo which later developed to a band called Hotdog The lead guiterist went by the name Slim. his sister at times would sing along with the band Her name was Joan. Alfert the bass player later on played with One Horse Blue.Does this ring abell anybody.

  • @wokangoman I believe Trevor Dunn played guitar with "Hot Dog"as well, I recall doing a double bandstand with the group at a high school, back in the day............
