exactly..she gets a lot of shtick for joining the Suagabes. For her, an opportunity came knocking and she decided to take it. She didn't plot to get Keisha out. I get that people can be angry with Amelle and Heidi...but Jade, IMO, is innocent

Love Keisha and love Jade - watcher her during the Eurovision earlier this year and found that she is the carer of her disabled parents. She has been looking for a break in the music business so that she can help her parents and little brother. I think sugarbabes management are to blame for what's happened.

...And btw, did it ever occur to you that maybe she didn't WANT to continue her solo career while she's in the Sugababes? From what she's said in interviews, I gather that she doesn't want the Sugababes' fans or anyone else to think that she isn't taking this Sugababes thing seriously. Having a solo career on the side implies that she doesn't really care about the Sugababes or their fans and that she's only in it for the exposure. Maybe she didn't want people to think that of her.

@Boicovich Look again. You didn't quote me right. What I ACTUALLY said ends at "chose not to", but you included in the quotation marks, "because she joined the Sugababes." I wouldn't normally mention it but that extra bit doesn't even go with my point . . . but it does with yours (how convenient).

If this was your opinion, I wouldn't even bother replying. The only reason I replyed is because your getting the facts twisted; making out that she was forced to do something that she didn't want to.

@Boicovich Firstly, if you're gonna quote me, quote me right. Secondly, it's not the epitome of being a puppet, simply because she wasn't FORCED to give up her solo career and join the Sugababes. She was merely given an option to, which she took.

And group members have solo projects when their 'star power' allows them to. Jade isn't 'big' enough to demand a solo career on the side. As someone at the beginning of her career (unlike Beyonce), she has very little options available to her.

@Boicovich She wasn't "told" not to release her "breakthrough". She had to choose between pursuing her solo career and joining the sugababes. Doing both wasn't an option. Knowing that, she could've stuck with her "breakthrough" if she wanted but she chose not to. That is the epitome of not being a puppet - taking her career into her own hands and making a decision like that.

I like how she's saying she;s a Puppet and now she's Punching out...YET she was told not to release her "BREAKTHROUGH" Because she joined the sugababes...she's still a puppet.
