This video is on Geometric design.

Geometric design is made up of straight random shapes, often achieved by drawing straight lines in a zig zag formation in design software such as Adobe Illustrator.

You can use this trend as a pattern or as an overlay for stylised pictures and text.

It strikes influences from Art Deco period design, Soviet design and the works of artists such as Saul Bass among others.

When using gradients you can create a crystallised isometric look. Alternatively you can use flat muted colours to create a vintage feel.
