@Stompgal I saw the logo on a cover of 2 Thomas tapes back when I was a child (this was in a library), and I thought both of them were pretty interesting. But my dad told me that next time, we can borrow one of them. So, the next time I went to the library, I decided to borrow "thomas percy and the dragon", and when I watched it, this logo appeared in it. It was the first time I ever seen this logo. Good memories :)

@Stompgal That's because Strand Home Video was the Video Collection's company name in the USA. They were first called Strand V.C.I. Home Video, before shortening it to just Strand Home Video. If you notice in the ident, the UK (spacificaly the London area where V.C.I. was based) had a bright light shine on that area, before the logo wound up in North America, it's to imply a British company operating in America.
