  • This was between 3:30 and 4pm roughly, the first showers were small ice pellets/sleet or small hail and wern't quite snow but later on it turned to proper flakes and some fairly large ones at that! Was nice up there anyway :)

  • Hey mate! Very cool! What time today was this? I was at Mt Piddington lookout (Mt Vic) about 2pm and a 'snow' shower started but it wasn't 'flakes' - more like tiny shards of ice. Same happened at Echo Point Katoomba - everyone said "it's snowing" but it was more like small ice crystals - didn't really 'float'. I saw about 30 secs of 'real' snowflakes about midday though. Do you know what I mean about the small ice pieces - is that still snow or does have another name? Thanks for great footage!
