Ahh, I see, makes sense, osha wouldn't let that fly around here, and we wonder why we lose jobs to other countries, osha and other regulatory organizations are part of the blame
I'm betting that shaves a few seconds off the cycle time

depends on how old machine is, we had some old tosh's that were the same. where scotch\interlock only came on when platen was in back position when gate was opened, bit like a clucth scotch went into interlock so machine could not shut with gate open

Am I the only one to notice that the platen was still moving when the door opened, or was it mis sight on my part?If it was, can we say that there is a serious safety interlock issue here

Chinese injection moulding m/c -- Mould opens even when the safety door is open , Only it shall not close unless safety door close.
