Bah....Tibet was wrong? Seriously as a Chinese (in relation to the March incident) I see absolutely NOTHING wrong with what the policeforce did in Tibet. They put down a violent racial riot. In my eyes they should have cracked down harder on those "peaceful" monks. Its not like they went in with tanks mowing down "peaceful demonstrators". Tibet has been over way too over romanticised by the west. It was a violent riot, and so should be put down before innocent ppl get killed.

But the Chinese are not transparent about how they run things in Tibet. "It take 2 to Tango" If the Tibetans didn't feel strong about the abuses by the Chinese, they wouldn't even say anything.

They have thousands of protests in China every week and innocent people get killed all the time. But even Chinese people won't talk about it, just like they don't talk about the 80 + million that Mao killed to install the totalitarian that is in power today.

The idea of one territory being "part and parcel" of a country is in itself ridiculous. The vast majority of countries in the world, including China, have undergone territorial changes throughout their history due to changing political circumstances

Taiwan is NOT part of china, when mao founded china back in 1949, Taiwan was NOT part of china, and was NOT ruled by china, and china never ruled over Taiwan,. only in Qing dynasty is taiwan part of Qing dynasty, If china wants land from the dynasty times, then china will have to take the whole of asia and italy and russia far east and pakistan, becoz in Yuan dynasty its all part of china. so there u go.

China is on the verge of being an economic super power. They have a HUGE responsibility on the world stage. But they must be prepared to listen to the world, they cannot think that they can do whatever they want whenever they want because it suits their "any means to an end ambitions". Listening to this guy ramble on makes me question that their ability to compromise is still in it's infancy. The world is watching.

taiwan is not a part of china. it was ruled by the japanese from the late 19th century and then had self autonomy for a few years before the kuomintang retreated to the island. sha zu kang doesnt know what he is talking about. taiwan is not chinese and has not 'always been under chinese rule'
