great i really like ray's music and i am happy that I'm not the only one who does. I'm not shure, but I think this song is called "What'd I say". Well all in all it doesn't metter how it is call'd nor you call it, cause when you hear the sound, you know which track it is!

@LeTaPe1 You're right. The song has been presented as both, and even as "What I Say." I saw this song listed on some of different CD collections as "What I'd Say" and "What'd I Say." When you announce this song using either of 3 titles and start playing it, the audience will know immediately that it's the Ray Charles tune. I've gotten into the habit of thinking "What I'd Say" some years back but sing it as "Whud I say..." LOL. Thanks for the comment.

@kiranrambocus87 oh, not that far off.... slightly re-arranged? yes. but, anyways, nobody plays it like Ray... :) thanks for watching...

Sorry, I don't have either. Best way to learn is practice those chords and scales and get to know them down cold. Then go over the tutorial as best as you can. There's no rush. You'll eventually get to where you want to go in music... and after time put some of your own style into it. Best of luck.

why don't you play the song the way it is?
lustyelf 1 year ago 3
@lustyelf Good question. This arrangement is for beginners. Songs and riffs in the key of C are easier to study and play for most beginners. As for playing it exactly like Ray, one has to ask, 'Which version?" Ray would vary his own original version depending upon the audience and his mood which is the beauty of blues improv and creativity. Thanks for the question. Send me a video of your version and I'l post it. Cheers...
