Ooh, the storage cart blocking the fire alarm pull, there was a storage cabinet blocking one of our fire alarm pulls (it's an old Standard Electric model) in the Student Center at my college

i used to go to a catholic school (private of coarse dur) and they have 1920 wiring and they had a kitchen fire...lots of problems....

I bet that's because the school did a cheap fire alarm upgrade, and that's why the system is crappy. I've seen a few extremely shoddy fire alarm upgrades online. There's a bowling alley that used to have Simplex 2901-9833 horns on 2903 light plates, but they replaced the old horns with SpectrAlerts, mounted right on the Simplex plates! The old Simplex T-bars are still intact.

my school in north vancouver, canada has terrible wiring, missing extinguishers, and only some rooms have sprinklers, and we have a lot of fires!
