Chickamauga Battlefiled National Park. Part of the Chickamauga Battlefield Tour Route. Although beautiful and scenic today this was the site of a major civil war battle. Monuments stands as a tribute to those who fought bravely on both sides. Many of the monuments were erected in the late 1860's. The park rangers tell us that the park looks much the same as it did when the Civil War Battle of Chickamauga was fought.
