Original - poem turned song kinda

Original - poem to music w/ Lyrics below- kinda wierd inspiration this song from a conversation I had with my sister. It's sometimes hard to understand why we'r so lucky and blessed and we should always remember those whose lives are not so easy as our own. Lyrics:
A young girl is standing there,
Ain't no flowers in her hair,
Her face is cold and her feet are bare,
So is her heart.

Broken now she dare not cry,
But hide the dyin in her eyes,
Unraveled are the ties that bind,
So is her life.

How is it your grace that I feel,
When other things are oh so real,
How much guilt this joy has revealed,
As she's left in the dark.

And so the moon will ever change,
As history remains the same,
Blood will spill to pave the way,
For a great parade.

A youthful bride she veils her face,
But something black has stained the lace,
No one even knew his name,
Until it was too late.
