Love skaithos town been going there all my life and off again in a couple of weeks can't wait, skopelos cheese pies anyone.

Also check out the old area of the town which is a rabbit warren of really old fashioned cobbled narrow streets woth a few small bars dotted around.

Skiathos town is an amazing place. Ive been to many many greek island and this is probably the only one where id say you really DO want to stay in the island capital. For me it has a bit of everything; there's the main tourist street which is shown at the beginning of this clip, theres a beautiful harbour front with nice restaurants and some pretty exclusive bars. Then theres a second harbour which is less busy and again some very posh bars over that side.

Hi! We're planning our holidays in Skiathos and we're looking for a place to stay.. Did you go at Thymi's Home? How was it? Is it on a good location to enjoy the city? Did you have a good permanence there? I've looked the web site but it seems to be quite expansive.. does it deserve it? Thank you in advance :)))

I think that Thymi's Home is very good. Of course there are many other, maybe better. I didnt spend much time in hotel, but count with that, you will need pay extra money for aircondition. I was very happy, it is very close to centrum (100m), but also very quiet in the night time. You can prepare your own food in the room. Hotel's pool is very small, maybe for children will be good.
