You really need a quality set of resistance tubing such as bodylastics to get benefit from these crunches.

The higher the angle you set the bench the easier this exercise will be.

These are good for beginners or people with back issues or anybody who has a bench, tube and door and wants to strengthen the hip flexors and abs.

Remember you will not get a six pack abdominals from this exercise or any abdominal exercise, or combination of abdominal exercises if you have a layer of fat around your belly button.

Pinch you skin around your belly button and if there is a skinfold of more than 10mm you need to lose body fat before you can dream about seeing any abdominal definition.
