  • The only problem I had with the bill was the Mandate. How can you force someone to buy a commodity?

  • @restlesspride666 - Better not think about driving.

  • @FixedNewsChannel But liability insurance is something understandable. I wouldn't even have a problem with a mandate if the bill had a public option. Then again, what do I know, I'm just a kid.

  • @restlesspride666 - "Then again, what do I know, I'm just a kid." Nonsense, your opinion is always welcome and valued here, anytime.

    I'm 25 btw

  • @restlesspride666 People who do not buy health care are still mortal. Who pays for their bills when the unexpected befalls them? The public. Simply, health care is better for everyone when everyone opts in.

  • @kwb70652 Yes it is messed up corporate monopoly called ideolgically as CORPORATISM. ReSearch that meaning & history on Wikipedia Currently our nation is caught in the current of repubicanCorporatism disinfo-propoganda without fully understanding who (ideology) is driving all of US into a ditch due 2 Greed. Did you know that China is a overRegulated REPUBLIC like North Korea or Egypt with millions of poor people fooled by wealthy republicans who call themselves proponents of democracy?

  • @mrfrednoname Yes, BlueCrossBlueShield lobbyists actually approved it to get more insurers. In most states home & auto insurance is mandatory, likewise it's a monopoly to raise rates on mandatory compliance.. Goverment has a monopoly & it's called politics & insurances have it too... called republicanCorporatism. We the people have it too, it's called democracy. Terror is based on misInformation. Republicans have done it to us. To form a more perfect union we need an informed democracy....

  • @rwcbanzai It's a messed up system when Health Insurance companies are for-profit endeavors. Additonally, I'm sure many of our Congressmen are invested in Ins. Companies, Pharmaceuticals, etc. It's too frustrating for words.

  • Republicans claim they want to reduce healthcare costs and insure the millions who need it BUT they are against: Public Option, Mandate (which is their idea), and want to end Medicare. So how the HECK do Republicans plan on reducing costs and insuring millions without any one of those things?

    They are truly ignorant.

Reagan's Solicitor General Explains Why ACA is Constitutional

  • @demmmmm1 You're absloutely right! GOP is the party of hypocrtes!

  • @kwb70652 I wish more people could get healthCare, the current monthly premiums start around $5oo to $1200 a month for one person plus deductibles & copays, nothwithstanding prescriptions. This does not necessarily cover vision or dental care. Inusrances will just price themselves out of the market & don't really care about patients as they're in the 4profit business like AIG-they'll keep demanding more (extortion racket) as they are 2big2fail & know that the plan points 2 medicalBankruptcy..

  • @mrfrednoname Here's my thing - I know some insurance companies support the HCBill, but why aren't they speaking out in support now? And why are they currently raising the rates at an astronomical pace? They must do it now because when the rest of the bill takes effect they will have to prove their rate increases are valid; this is their last chance to fleece their customers. They would raise their rates to unattainable heights for their profit, and not care who has to drop their coverage.

  • @rwcbanzai Oh great, I needed more bad news...

You have a way with words.

I keep thinking the Insurance companies should support the new health care law because they should get a lot more customers out of it; that should more than make up for any regulations.
