Drakan 2 Trailer

This is a trailer for Drakan: The Ancients' Gates, back when it was still in development, and possible before they decided on the subtitle. You can see that the HUD looked different back then, and that some of the environments had different designs, too.

This trailer is from an old Playstation Magazine demo my friend gave me. I don't know what issue it's from, as it only says it's "demo 2.3".

My drakan 2 doesnt look like this! I mean the health,mana,experience bar,and some of arokhs weapons are completely different.why?

@NeosEtnies maybe it was an early build, i don't remember if the demo in the same disc had a hud like that though.

It would be cool if one could get the original development files and rebuild it for the pc. It is possible and would love to make use of the cry engine.

just sad i cant find a game like drakan, that has like this big story and such great characters.....the studio is currently working on an other game, so the future of drakan looks bad.....i hope they'll make a third drakan... :( todays games are all just about highend graphic, no one cares about good stories (altough there are also exeptions!)......Many of my ps2 games make a lot more fun than my xbox360 games

They should have released it like this. I always thought the layout looked better this way. A modern Drakan game would be badass on the PS3 or 360 :D They should make one like it. NO, not like Lair. Lair was a complete failure in my opinion :/
