En mi opinión una de las mejores peliculas de la guerra de Vietnam, dirigida por Oliver Stone, excombatiente de Vietnam. La canción es "Tracks of my tears" de Smokey Robinson que también forma parte de la BSO de la peli.

Had full metal jacket come out earlier(which was possible),this film would be as forgotten as hamburger hill.Which is even better than than platoon.I can't believe anyone out of high school,would be moved by this maudlin,manipulative,badly acted(except berenger,sheen,mcginly,dillon,­quinns son,black guy named junior,badly written(who says goddamn to there grandma in a letter?,cliched garbage(as soon as the plot is revealed,you KNOW what was going to happen!)Cheesy music.Horribly overrated film
