Don't miss my other anthems! So far, the parodies for the UK (twice), Canada, Germany, Norway, France, the US, Russia, Italy, Sweden, China, Japan, Israel, North Korea, Australia and many more have been released.

My very first song, even though popular, was quite short and techically weak compared to my newer works. It also became obvious that a nation as historically and currently important as the UK deserved more than the few lines they got. The result is this; a version of a song most people know and associate with the British: Rule, Britannia!

"Rule, Britannia!" is a British patriotic song, originating from the poem "Rule, Britannia" by James Thomson and set to music by Thomas Arne in 1740. It is also used by the British Army. Rule, Britannia! is often written as simply Rule Britannia, erroneously omitting both the comma and the exclamation mark, which changes the interpretation of the lyric by altering the grammar.

I mean no offence to the countries parodied. In fact, most of these countries are my favorites, and I wish them all my best. The UK is among the top 2 of nations I like.

-----

I do not promise anything, but if you want me to make a parody of YOUR national anthem, your country could be next, given that it is a nation of some international or historical significance. Requests should be made as comments to my videos; i check my PM inbox less often!

  • Pity about the "one hundred sixty-seven" (lacking an "and"), which is American English

  • @deadparrot77 Had to because of the rythm.

  • Yeah and we Norwegians never have I rainy day... Ops. Bergen

  • @Finni100 True, but I'm an easterner.

  • Britain are the people who always smash you at sea :D

  • Makes me proud to be British. :-)

But note that 167 would be read out as "one hundred AND sixty-seven" in British English

  • @weecraig898 I meant that of Britain. You consider India the only bad country. It is not at all right.

  • @weecraig898 US Revolutionary War of 1781? (It was in the 1780's that war stopped)...Don't say it wasn't a country because later in the US state was recognized by the French Monarch...Third Anglo-Afghan War of 1919, British failed to conquer Afghanistan...Irish War of Independence...

  • @Vishu95100 I don't think he's done 100, and India is a shithole with a shit anthem.
