@stevencheng1988 I am from mainland. Thanks for your pro Taiwan is part of China. In my opinion, mainland should also respect ROC as an equal entity as PRC. The unity should not be mainland "swallow" taiwan, but both sides integrate with each other. Mainland has been slightly but continuously changing her attitude to ROC. We show more respect to KMT's contribution when it ruled mainland. A good example is more and more history teachers now using "蒋公“ or "蒋中正" instead of "老蒋".

Americans need to hold our policymakers accountable but the reason that our infrastructure is left to aging, exposure, overuse, misuse, mismanagement, and neglect is also because of an uninformed and unengaged public, the most important stakeholder of infrastructure. Now there is a space, the InfraInput website, that can turn the tide by allowing anyone to report issues and ideas concerning public infrastructure. Such targeted entries will focus our initiatives to better deliver these systems.

The West finance these people, give them free technology, information, etc.- Western civilization's energies built their civilization. Only decades ago they didn't have anything and were dirt poor. Almost all cities are 100y.o, White people founded most of their key cities(HK, Macau, list goes on...)
