Acetone (in my case used as nail polish remover) can dissolve polystyrene. Dip a piece of Styrofoam in acetone and styrofoam disappear after a while. In my case this way, dissolved in a container made ​​of polystyrene.

NOTE: do not do it alone, unaccompanied by an adult. Chemicals are very dangerous.
