I really enjoyed this video Andy although I envied your internet enabled commuting route - I'm not sure all commuting routes/mobile broadband is quite where it should be yet.
I did have one question which wasn't answered for me: if you can work anywhere and anytime why make such a significant physical commute? Is this a reflection of cultural norms of the workplace and expectations of where/when work is or is there something specific about presence in your job that makes it essential to travel?
Really enjoyed this Andy you were a kind of digital flaneur, in and out of digital and urban spaces in a way which made the two seem interconnected and integral to each other. It seemed like the act of strolling in and out of these spaces was itself a form of reflection and critique. And I liked the way the linearity of the train metaphor gave way to the free-flight of SL at the end!
Everything about this video appealed to me. The education journey concept, the characters on the way, ; the point purpleslp made and above all the way it was paced. Great way to get your digital / life journey message across. Congratulations Andy!
I really liked the positive message in this video with the idea that this journey can go absolutely anywhere you want it to. I also like the idea that 'now I'm here' referred to your digital self living the online life rather than the old OU attending you 25 years ago.
