  • Right direction but there are a lot of very fat Hispanics and Asians that pour down Beans and Rice as there staple. They are very high in carbohydrate (Sugars). The key is all things in moderation (Bible) and real lite to none, on the new sugar high fructose corn syrup. Organic if you can afford it. High nutrition, low calories. Eat that damn religious bread Ezekiel 4:9 sold in health food stores instead of atheist bread evolution bread (Inside Joke).

  • People get fat when they move to the US and start eating margarine, hfcs, conventional meat, etc. If you visit them in their home countries they are rarely/never fat from eating mostly beans & rice.

  • Cool, I love island vacations. I'll wait for you to send me the plane ticket.

  • there is a lot of propaganda about the ill effects of braggs liquid aminos-I don't take it anymore

  • Personally I never knew what to think of braggs liquid aminos - they won't say how it's made and it's expensive. I prefer raw soy sauce like Nama-Shoya (sp?) where you know it is made in the traditional way. On the other hand I do trust braggs raw apple cider vinegar

  • Don't be so hard on yourself, bro!

  • Very informative video! The choppy sequences make the video a little bit hard to follow, however. Your video's are very informative. Please make future video's less choppy.

  • Looks like i know what my next reading material is going to be!

  • I have always soaked beans overnight in a large bowl so they could swell up and be easily rinsed. First you have to sort them out....I use small white beans and see to pick out any little rocks or discolored beans. Then soak them and rinse before cooking. I add onion, ham hock or salt pork and cook until creamy, about 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Yummy, I think mom called them Rainy Day beans.

  • I like your videos. You're obviously well read. I'm interested in your perspectives on colon cleansing, liver cleansing, and detoxification in general. As you know we are exposed to a lot of poisons in the air, water, and food as well as drugs which our bodies have to process that our ancestors did not have to deal with.

  • 5 very good amino acid categories to benefit and build up from every day: better quality flesh, organic roots, soaked organic nuts/seeds/avacodes, soaked organic beans, and true whole grains like Millet.

  • @JohnJamesAlexander Also, many Hispanics that I know cook their beans and WHITE rice with bacon fat. That'll do the trick.

  • you sure are sexy :-) love the information also.

  • hahahahahaha

  • you might need to chew them up first, that might be an issue

  • i use fats like ghee and coconut oil to cook with. they have a much higher smoke point(400 d) than butter and oxidze less. yummy too.

  • I LOVE beans and rice... sooooo much
