Dancer On Top Of Big Ben

This is the result of one of our workshop sessions at uni, where we were compositing different bits of live action together.

Mine ended up looking like something out of a psychedelic 1960s scene!

Basically, there is a dancer on top of Big Ben (?), and some weird coloured clouds. Suddenly, she blows up, and I had a funny thought that I could put a bit of Barry Scott on there; 'KABOOM' "And the dirt, is gone".

To put the dancer onto the scene, I cut out each individual frame in PhotoShop, and put a blue-screen behind her. Then, in Premiere, I put her onto Big Ben (which has also been blue-screened and keyed out), and I made her vanish as the explosion goes off. The explosion has also been keyed out (which had a black backing on it), and it looks quite realistic as it blows her up!
