  • the volume is pretty weak even with headphones. I have only tried it with my ipod headphones though so i would think others would be better. Nothing we could really do about the fingerprints. I use the cloth that came with it to wipe them off so it stays fairly clean and i like the glossy finish.

  • the computer is very quiet i barely hear the fan going on. For you people like me that take it to school it is very good.

  • i tried using the microphone for a recorder but it did not work great is was mostly inaudible.

  • sorry i am not going to install vista on it because i like the way it is right now. i have been typing quite a bit at school today and the keyboard is very good for touch typers like myself. i dont use the right shift key so i dont notice any difference there but i can type just as fast as i could with my desktop keyboard. I really like what they did with the keyboard in this version and i hope you all will like it too. im going to try and use the mic as a recorder in class today.

  • i actually like the new keyboard i can type on it just as good as my desktop keyboard. i will post more on the keyboard once i use it more though. the other video is still uploading and should be up soon.

  • they are stickers. i said i was going to start it up and show the start up time but that is in the other video sorry. its in the video labeled 1000he ram upgrade.

  • ahh alright nice to know there is actualy a "difference"

    cheers

  • Yes, but you can always get more out of your battery. Just pointing out whats new in the n280.

  • to what ? the 1000 series still averages around 8.5/10.5 hours even with the N270... let alone an N280 man...

you WONT get 11+ hours on these machiens if your doing tasks..

  • It means increased battery life.

  • who cares lol

  • The N280 uses 25% less power. :)

  • yes is scratch proof... the power supply really depend where you buy it .... each country have their own different transformer or there is none for some country.

  • is the outside acctually scratch-proof like they claim on the website, and also is the power supply transformer 100-240V?
