BP Oil spill/leak NOT the second trumpet of Bible prophecy in book of Revelation

Many folks are trying to make prophecy happen before it's time. The BP oil spill leak disaster is indeed a crisis but it is not the second trumpet/shofar sounded by the angel in the Book of Revelation as told by the apostle John in the Bible. People who are preaching this are taking the scripture out of context.

We know that there will be the seals, the trumpets and the bowls which are all God's judgment upon the earth. But we have not quite gotten there yet. It may be soon though.

What is happening is that a dire disaster has happened and it will have far reaching consequences in the economic and ecological arenas not to mention a huge toll on human life.

The effects of the corexit are far reaching and people need to understand what this chemical dispersant is doing to not only the sea life and wild life, but also the havoc it is creating on humans.

If you have not gotten your heart right with Jesus, now would be a good time. You make your own decision, but times are rapidly growing worse and it isn't going to get any better from here on out. So it might be a wise decision to talk to God and ask forgiveness of your sins and accept Jesus as your Savior. You are going to need it in the near future.

Thanks for posting the video. It's definitely time to start debating and preparing.

You have made a deadly assumption my friend (I consider anyone in Christ my friend). You are assuming that Revelation's trumpets are chronological. And that's a very delicate premise for your conclusion. And given that the description of the second trumpet matches the oil disaster so well, I would think it more prudent to err on the side of caution and see the first trumpet being the consequence of the second.

m aybe not, but the blue plague it created could be a horseman riding in.

go watch some of "beepeeoildisaster" he has live feed from rovs of bps. and it is terrifying. mutants and evil forms and entitie,on bp cameras,mutating metal into animate moving things. dare ya, go see. this plague could kill millions,that will be biblical. coming sooner than later.

Of course this is not the 2nd Trumpet. A third of the ships have not been destroyed by it, in fact, not a single ship has been destroyed. That alone rules it out.

thank you so much for this video... i actually haven't read the bible in many years and had heard that the oil spill was a sign of the revelation. my mind is at slight ease hearing that the first trumpet hadn't occured yet. but still can't believe man has allowed this major "spill" to happen :(

@DavesAV6 Also...with the storms tainted with the oil, and lightning in the sky, that oil could be ignited and rain down real fire. We have yet to see the real impact of that oil spill. And its scary when you think about the possibilities.
