  • We had a fantastic day watching the displays from our garden, very close views, cost us nothing, plenty of noise. Getting a replay today. Excellent.

  • Where do you live? We'll be up there in half an hour! ;o)

  • as you can see really pissed at this display not just about the vulcan but quality of aircraft flying no fighters apart from typhoon as the star at the very end they flew it last year about 3 times during the day as an infil more excitement at east midlands air[port must have had a £25.00 budget if you had anything to do with this feel ashamed

  • CAN PEOPLE PLEASE STOP DISSING THE WADDO AIRSHOW ON MY ACCOUNT. I DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH IT!

I AM MERELY A LONG TIME VULCAN FAN WHO POSTED THIS (not very good) VIDEO FOR OTHER PEOPLE LIKE ME WHO ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT HER.

I AGREE, WHAT HAS HAPPENED IS UNNACEPTABLE.

  • Thanks for the excellent vid of her arriving at Waddo - damned shame this is as close as we'll get to seeing her fly this weekend though! With all the hoo-har about getting funds to get her in the air this air show season you'd think they'd get the paperwork right! Huge disappointment for her fans!

  • Couldn't agree with you more. A huge disappointment.

  • what an awesome plane, at 4:00 mins its like a bird ufo thing haha, :)

  • i agree with you on that one mate

  • I have heard it said that there will be a paperweight Vulcan soon!!

  • not seeing the proper jets at the show really annoyed me, they were there! but they didnt fly them . grrrr, but the arrows were good, and the polish and the seeing the lynx was good

  • Felt honoured to see the Beast fly over my house, wish I'd been at Waddington that day to witness this....

  • isnt tht plane meant to actually carry atom bombs unfortunatly ...it didnt it was ment to in the cold war unfortunatly nothing went on

  • to true every one ,the show was a total let down,i know things are tight but jesus, would of seen more jets at humberside airport, they will have to sort this for next year ,

  • the poor display is the fault of raf waddington,i know the vulcan not being able to fly was not the fault of waddington certainly, but i dont think the flying display was no were good as prievous years, they should have had the static aircraft flying and the flying ones as static! then it would have been interesting lol,as for the vulcan to sky trust cocking it up,no surprise judging by the name its making for itself!

  • It was a shame we didn't see the Vulcan on Saturday but that was hardly the fault of RAF Waddington. The Civil Aviation Authority refused a certificate of airworthiness. According to what I could gather from listening to the show radio station, the Vulcan crew failed to fix a problem they'd been forewarned about.
