I got this from another person on youtube but I couldn't find the original post so I uploaded it to show others who are fans. It's too good for it not to be seen!

  • "A tongue like that and all he wants to do is Hump" OhMyGod. I had no idea Martha was sooo nasty.. Right On!!!!!

  • Red's "dirty rehearsals" were legendary at CBS Television City; people from other shows on adjoining studios would often turn up and watch Red and his guests (usually without being in costume) flub lines, swear and just take apart their carefully prepared sketches...and some of them were preserved on videotape or kinescope- including this one, the final version of which was seen on January 1, 1963.

  • lol... red ain't no better @CRMunir1

  • My, I haven't laughed so hard in years. Martha was quite the rig, must've been something to have partied with her. From now on anytime I see her name or think of her I will do so with a very big grin on my face.

  • Red Skelton was one that did comedy without using bad words;however, he overlooked others that did use them and kept most of them out of his sketches, but Martha was going on a ramble that was not rehearsed and this is why Red reacted as he did because there's nothing he could do, but react when your live and the two were very funny despite it all they stoled the show.

  • I wound how king tits is doing now LOL

  • @Barndancer61 Completely agree with you, my friend.

I just Love the contrasts, of Contempary comedy, and Vintage.

Max Miller (for example) is my Hero, and this skit, could have been taken out of his Blue Book ! LOL

    all the Best.

  • @jazzmanzoot Well this is of course people as they actually were in the '50's or in any point in history. The squeaky clean image we have of the past is because of the sanitization of TV broadcasting from that and any other period. As these were clearly outtakes, the final broadcast version of this skit was of course very different.
