Unfortunately, the "black shadow" is indeed the camera focus. As the lens moves forward it eclipses the light that is set at the side and slightly behind the lens, which is why the shadow "moves" from the center of focus (Nick) outwards.

I absolutely believe there is Something (or several Somethings) in that building, which is why it annoys me when investigators attempt to "create" evidence out of nothing. It casts doubt on the entire investigation.

That said, still a chilling episode.

The posession ws scary as hell atleast Nick didn't a. kill Zak and Aaron and b. didn't end up becoming completely posessed

I agree with you. The posession was scarry. On one of their investigations, they actually paused a lockdown just because Zack was seriously possessed.

@held46 I understand what you mean. My father used to be a paranormal investigator, doing almost the same thing as the "crew", but for all dark entities, they are more comfortable in pitch black. You seem to get most, um, you know, evidence in the pitch black dark.... Hope that explains it. (:

why do all ghost hunters feel the need to investigate in the dark. When these people who work and frequent the location experience paranormal things, they aren't walking around in pitch black darkness, they have lights on and are functional. A lot of the uneasiness they claim to feel can be explained by the fact they cut out one of their main senses for a long period of time. I believe in the potential for ghosts, but hunting in the dark just adds showmanship to it if you ask me.
