I think one thing your overlooking is the fact that some Christians actually DO believe in exactly this kind of logic. It's not so much that the original video had misconceptions, as that Christianity has so many flavors, you can't pin down them all in a single statement. I find that makes the religion even more suspect.
You also say reading a BIble verse or two will show god's love. I disagree. The god in the Bible is spiteful, vengeful, and murderous. I'll include verses if I need too.
