AGS shoots some .22LR through the Kestrel 556

We've had a lot of people asking us to put some .22LR through the much anticiapted Kestrel 556, so here it is.

I was thinking of getting the guardian, but you know what... for little bit more money, I can get a very affordable can that I can also shoot 5.56 out of! Kestrel all the way then!!!

The Kestrel 556 comes with a 1/2"x28 mount. Most threaded .22 and .223/5.56 barrels are 1/2"x28, so yes, it will fit if your barrel is threaded (some .22 rifles require a thread adapter).

The Kestrel you are referring to is the Kestrel 22. It is the same diameter as the Guardian 22, but with a full stainless steel core. The Kestrel 556 is all stainless steel, rated for full auto use in 5.56, 5.45x39, and lesser calibers.

It is a user serviceable 5.56 can. It can be taken apart to clean, and is good to go on a .22 rifle. It's a little heavy to use on a pistol.
