i think the clone wars is more important than the galactic civil because if the clone wars never happened then Anikin would never turned... order 66 would not exist and that would mean that the emperor would have gotten overthrown. Then the would be no need for the rebellion. it would be The republic senators that would make desicions along with the jedi council

This video is clearly intended as a joke, but it also makes a lot of sense. With the clone army alone, the numbers just don't add up; how could 3 million troopers wage war effectively across 50 million worlds, unless each planet needed only 16 soldiers to subjugate it. The math doesn't work.
Face it, Lucas, you screwed up.

THE CLONE WARS WERE AN INSIDE JOB

I think this is awsome...... your not accusing the republic of hiding a conspiracy, are you?

One of my most favorite parts of Star Wars is the piece of the story that develops around Palpatine. The sincerity of false flag operations playing out in Star Wars makes it a truly great piece of not-so-fictional storytelling. Like all classic movies, there is a wealth to be learned from studying Star Wars.

@DarthFanta Doh, I understood "pos-Rusan" and around the end of the New Sith Wars. Well you must notice that George created the universe. And at that time he had to create everything, characters, factions, history, events, politics, etc. While those guys who came later like BioWare with KOTOR and other recent comic-books about the Old Sith Empires, well they only had to pick up George's material and create a more interesting story. The events of the movies are the basis for any other story.

You are wrong, pre-Ruusan era is where all the conflicts are fought, when the Sith Order was a large organization instead of just confining to two people. The Knights of the Old Republic series was based upon the pre-Ruusan era, when the Republic still had a military, instead of being pushovers.
-
@DarthFanta What..Darth Bane's era? Pfff nop. Boring. There's almost no wars by then. No anthagonists..nothing. It's just an era of production for all factions except for the Sith Order with their new rule of two implemented.

You need to rip the movie into a file on your computer (such as AVI format). After that I just used a simple video editing program like Windows Movie Maker.

I certainly could have prefered this alternative, more complex storyline to the silly and easily spoofed one actually used in the films. It could have shielded Star Wars from the second rate status it has, given it more depth and value to the characters and greaters seriousness to the action of the films. Making a symbolic resemblance to the real world couls have been a great addition to the movies.

This video was a joke. Did you watch all the way to the end? It's spoofing some screwups done in the official SW EU, only probably giving more credit than they deserve because the writers did this story...by incompetence and accident. I did try to make the video a decent watch for people who weren't involved in the debacle.
This video completely contradicts the movies, including the originals. There's a place for darker stories, but not in SW if the story goes against everything before.
