ustad haji ameer khan from Pakistan, born in Karachi, whose family have been musicians for seven generations.
khan saab learned from his elder brother. By 1977, at the age of six, khan saab had begun performing at weddings
and internationally with his father by the age of 12. khan saab soon followed in his fathers footsteps.
he would sing classical, pop, and mixture of whatever the public needs
he has been educating children to be able to sing or play instruments such as harmonium , tabla , dholak , etc.
his students include : imran ahmad vocalist harmonium , jamaal hussain vocalist, shumail ali tabla an dholak ,
muneez hayder harmonium and vocalist zilqarnain mahomed dholak tabla. khan saab currently resisdes in london uk
and is available to perform at occasion be it weddings , walimas or birthdays and also music festivals and melas
