MATERIAL: Six Stranded Embroidery Floss (DMC BRAND) and Nylon Cord for the wrapped strand. Clip it down in a clipboard for easy working.

■ LENGTH & MEASUREMENTS:

Center Nylon Cords: appx 12" (inches) or 25" if folding the center rope.
Embroidery Floss: Folded 65" (inches) and Unfolded 35" (inches)

(In this video I am using one piece of Nylon Rope from the hardware store for the center YELLOW strand. You can use anything thick like yarn or if you don't have thick strings you may use a couple embroidery floss strands and treat them as one string.)

The outer strands of embroidery floss should be 65" (inches) long. You will need 6 strings and the colors are optional. You may use 6 different ones at half lengths if you are not folding for duplicate strings or if you do decide to make a really long string to tie at the half way point (like in hair wrapping) then just double up by using two strings as one to achieve a thicker result. it's entirely up to you- customize it!

how do you tie it at the end? so that it will come off, like how profesionals do it, how they make it so you can make this little hole or whatever become bigger or smaller.

@ParisxxPrincess I'm not sure what you mean, the adjustable knot? You just make two 3 to 4 inch tails on either side, knot the very ends and then put the two tails together and make some square knots over them both to hold them together.
