@GoldArtemis Yeah, unfortunately (from what I've heard) there were a group of Steampunk LARPers that came to the event. That guy was one of them. Not that I have anything against LARPers. Just break character if you know you're being interviewed by the News. Particularly if they're inquiring about "what is goth" and not the character you're acting as.

@h8ter29 A large part of the Goth subculture is the attire. however, no, JUST dressing in lovely gothic attire does not earn you a one way ticket to Gothville. It is both a style and a lifestyle (ex. 'finding beauty in dark places' as the Lady of the Manners likes to say) . So don't say "ppl quit making goth a fashion statement." because it IS, and it has been for the past thirty years.

ppl quit making goth a fashion statement. yes u can dress like a goth but that does not mean u are goth, and yes goths tend to be anty social, but its not realy a choice
