Hanson honors World Aids Day with "Great Divide"

Check out the video for Hanson's new song "Great Divide". Inspired by their recent time in South Africa and the tragedy and devastation AIDS has caused there, Hanson release "Great Divide"  the first track from their forthcoming album The Walk ('07) as an Itunes Exclusive song. 

All proceeds from the download will go to the Perinatal HIV Research Unit in Soweto, South Africa - a hospital that helps reduce the transmission of pre-natal HIV/AIDS. I think it is wonderful that Hanson care about AIDS in Africa. It shows that unlike most pop/rock stars they care. Also, I wonder if Taylor can talk without moving his hands..LOL

No,no I was commenting on a link someone posted on here to a video that was basically saying that AIDS isn't a problem. That people in Africa aren't dying from it at all, its totally not a problem. The link seems to be gone now.

um.. no? haha. This is definitely the official Great Divide video. I think it's great :) I mean, Hanson makes and produces their own videos since they're on their own indie record label, but I actually really love the way they've been doing their videos lately. They don't do that fancy, campy music video stuff. They just make it as if you're watching them rock out. Which is always a great enough experience in it of itself.
